30% of human made greenhouse gas emissions are caused by food production.
Globally, it also accounts for about 40 percent of the land we occupy and 70 percent of the water we consume. Food production often goes hand in hand with water pollution, deforestation, and biodiversity loss. These impacts are significant, but there are also huge opportunities to transform the way we produce our food.
